A thoroughly updated great room greets you, with a modern kitchen showcasing a long bar seating seven front and center. The heavy timber ridge beam over the living room flies across the space to meet a window wall letting in plenty of natural light. A massive stone fireplace promises cozy nights.
With two queen bedrooms on the main floor and one queen bed downstairs as well as two sets of twin bunk beds, Grand Ole Chalet sleeps 10 guests comfortably. There are three full baths as well so guests have plenty of options when it’s time to get ready for town or hit the slopes at Ober. If staying in is the plan, you’ve got ample seating outdoors on the two decks, with a dining table and lounge adjacent to the gas firepit, a two-person swing, gas barbecue, and a hot tub for some bubbly fun.
When it’s play time, your crew will have fun on the foosball table, throwing darts, or playing arcade games on the Legends Ultimate console. The kids will have their own zone downstairs to enjoy while the adults mix above. Anytime is a good time to catch Smoky Mountain views and Grand Ole Chalet’s decks don’t disappoint, especially in winter when the leaves are down. Great Experience
What a great place to stay!
Perfect
We loved the cabin! However, there was no table to eat outside on the upper deck. There was a huge empty space where one would fit perfectly! This was disappointing. There was a small one on the lower deck but impractical to use due to the circular staircase. The house had the barest amenities. I would recommend including trash can liners and dishwasher pods.
